Class CIP
yesterday i had class cip (community involvement programme) (:our class (101) and some other students from 108 and 111 went with us to silver centre to entertain the old folks there (:according to ms yap, the old folks there were residents of the hdb flats, and they come down to that small area in the afternoon to get some company or play with the other old folks (:our class bought sandwiches, cereal, coffee and biscuits to give the old folks as food.we also prepared games such as art and craft and pass-the-parcel.firstly, when we reached the silver centre, the band and chinese orchestra members of our class played the school song (xD) and 月亮代表我的心.one old folk was very enthusiastic and she sang along with us!i was the "music stand".there were no REAL music stands, so i had to squat on the floor while holding up the music scores for my classmates to see for the whole song.sigh, i can tell you that it was SUPER tiring, and i nearly had cramps from puttting my whole weight on one leg :/next, we got all the old folks to sit around in a circle, while we have to choose an old folk and stand beside him/her, be his/her buddy (:if the parcel is passed to the old folk that is our buddy, we have to do a forfeit. not the old folks.i danced gee (to accompany my classmates) and did 20 pumpings as forfeits >.<actually i was not supposed to do that but i just want to accompany my other classmates (:to tell the truth, the music played for the pass-the-parcel was quite soft, i guess we have to improve on that.next was eating time (:as i ate only the sandwich from the sandwich machine for lunch, i was vvvvvvvvvvvv hungry :/furthermore, i had to distribute sandwiches to the old folks, and the sandwiches were SO tempting. i really want to steal one and gobble it up (:next was art and craft (:we made some foam stamps and the old folks were supposed to choose a stamp they liked and stamp it on their piece of colour paper (:but i wasn't really enthusiastic as before, cause i am SUPER hungry.._.and finally, it was time to go back (:the bus journey took about 20 minutes, and they were a torture. SO HUNGRY.luckily i had some sweets, i totally gobbled them up like they were my means of surviving (:when we reached school, i chiongedddd to the canteen and bought some snacks haha.on the way, i was arguing with valerie who will die of hunger first hee.cip was fun (:BUTlesson learnt: never eat sandwiches as lunch ever again.
